A quintet of avengers travels to the Shi'ar throneworld for an audience with Empress Lilandra! The heroes from Earth hope to convince the Majestrix Shi'ar to end the intergalactic war against the Kree and recall the Nega-Bomb! Is that wishful thinking? After a testy hearing in front of the royal court and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, all parties retire to their quarters while Lilandra ponders the Avengers' bold request!
