Starlog Magazine (1976) #64 E.T. Reviewed by ALAN DEAN FOSTER?!? (It's really good!)

Seriously? These reviews are bonkers. The Alan Dean Foster one is like seven pages long, and really, really insightful. There's a bunch of other great ones as well. What a crazy year.

Also, that dingus who wrote Mike Hammer thinks he can take down John Carpenter in the most off-the-mark review of The Thing imaginable. He also hated Escape from New York, and The Fog. I guess we'll just have to see if John Carpenter's catalog, or the  Mike Hammer franchise has the longest lifespan. Who can say. 

Star Trek, Tron, Poltergeist, Road Warrior, Blade Runner, The Thing? Man. Good stuff.
