By attacking one of Nick Kaska's properties, Tombstone has caused a gas main explosion that has put the entire neighborhood in danger. As Spider-Man saves people from trapped buildings, firefighters arrive on the scene to contain the area. They try to keep back Lance Bannon, a photographer for the Daily Bugle. Not far away, Tombstone has attempted to escape by trying to steal an ambulance only to be confronted by its driver, Flash Thompson. As Spider-Man rescues a little girl from a burning apartment building, Lance Bannon takes photos of the situation.
