Peter Parker's health has been in deterioration for some time, with his vital signs crashing, Ben Reilly and Peter's wife Mary Jane stand by his bed and wait for the end to come.  The doctors have done everything they could and now leave the pair to mourn the loss of Peter Parker.  After Peter flat-lines, Mary Jane and Ben mourn his passing in silence. They then leave the room, when Mary Jane completely breaks down. Back inside, Peter Parker suddenly comes back to life, his body spasming all over.
